Who We Are?
Our founders and senior management have a strong background in Operations, Technology, Six Sigma, Lean management, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Business Process Management (BPM). We leverage this experience to help our clients reduce operational costs, improve quality and boost their revenues.
We are a SSAE-16 certified organization. SSAE 16 is a standard set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and helps to ensure that all outsourced documents are handled in a secure, reliable and stable environment with tight process controls in place.
Why us ?
VA is a very different company because of our collective mindset. So much so that, we have written out the rules that we follow in a blog. We thought it might be a good idea to list some of these to help you get a glimpse of how we think..
Rule 1: Do one thing and do it better than anybody else in the world! We live and die by this. Every time someone does something you will hear them being challenged. “Is this better than the best?”
Rule 18: Grow the pie and share the pie: Sudhir, our CEO, believes says this is the only way to grow. There have been instances when we improved the efficiency of a process for certain customers, we have gone ahead and reduced our billing rates without them asking us for it! In the same way we have given bonuses to the VA family when they were not even expecting it.
Rule 21: Change the mindset and you can change a person: We have an intensive training program (Sometimes affectionately called as the 'Boot Camp' because it is so tough to get through') where we primarily focus on changing the mindset of the new team members. The philosophy of our leads and trainers is let the trainees fail (Rule 35: Do it once but never do it again) in their efforts and learn from them. That way by the time they touch any customer files or processes ‘they are all thinking like the CEO' (Rule 27)
Beyond rules: The goal of every rule is to go beyond it. Our IT lead aptly said one time, ‘At VA, out of the box thinking is a norm’ to explain how we are always trying to think of different ways to help our customers and providing more value than we did yesterday!
