If you agree with this, you are burning money! Recently I read an article which went on to say that having partner company work on your back office processing is risky because your organization does not have any control over how your partner company works. It also stated that your company might be in trouble if your partner company is acquired or something to that effect.   Before we go any further I request you to please read something that I had shared with you a few months ago “The need for the expert”. This article explains when and why companies should think about outsourcing work and when they should not.   If you are lazy (like me) and don’t want to read the article here is the one paragraph conclusion from this article. “People and companies outsource work when they are sure that the task or the product is done better by someone else and I can just pay for the work than do it myself. This is a basic human trait. Think about it, people called it division of labor! Companies should think of outsourcing when they believe that a product or service can be done by...

I’m sure all of us agree that growth is most important for any organization. Without growth businesses would lose their competitive edge and would not be able to handle the growing needs of our current market. As the world revolves and markets evolve, competitors with similar competences bud and thrive on any opportunity, hence it is important that you keep your company on the cutting edge by providing quality services at attractive prices to keep your customer base stable and ever growing. How can you provide the same services as your competitors with better quality, customer satisfaction, and yet have attractive prices you ask??? Many companies (including yours if you haven’t yet explored outsourcing options) are ignoring the greatest change that is revolutionizing businesses in the U.S and other First World Countries. 'Back Office Outsourcing' provides quality services that are delivered on time at only 50% of the cost. Sounds like a great deal right! But question?? Why aren’t companies opting for back office outsourcing?? The benefits being EVIDENT!! Two reasons I know for a fact and one I assume – Fact 1 – Most companies are not aware of this low cost Business Booster!! Fact 2 – The companies who...

I recently read an article in one of the magazines that said, 'Offshoring of back office jobs to level off'. This article explains why this statement could be incorrect.  While it is evident that there have been fluctuations in the offshoring market, it should be noted that more than a decade of offshoring and productivity improvements has increased the number of corporate business services jobs that involve transaction processing. Many of the new jobs that have been created through economic growth in the high-cost countries involve controlling and analysis, functions that are suitable for offshoring. While it appears that more and more jobs are moving to  low cost countries, there is already a growing trend of high end jobs that are created right here in the United States to fulfill the needs of developing low cost countries. This is explained in detail in point number 3 given below.  The changes in offshoring market can also be justified using the data given below: Offshoring is all about supply and demand. So long as there is a less expensive way of providing value to customer companies will find a way of solving it. India and China are not going away because together they have...
